Whether you need an ultraportable compact computing solution or simply a secondary personal computer for staying connected and in touch on the road, trust the Dell Latitude 2110 to deliver — the newest addition from industry giants Dell. Undeniably, Dell has for a very long time now been producing very impressive and inimitable products, and their newest release doesn’t disappoint. It is feature packed, and flexible enough to help business people achieve more in practically any work setting.

There are three reasons why you should get yourself the Dell Latitude 2110. For one, thanks to WiMax and embedded mobile broadband 1 option, you get to easily stay connected and in touch as your business goes on. Second, you will be able to remain productive wherever you might be, thanks to the 6-cell battery, a webcam and touch screen options. Third, nothing gives you more confidence than knowing that the manufacturer gives recognized international support and service of the netbook, including, but not limited to Dell ProSupport Services.

The Latitude 2110 is also aimed at students of course and business owners who generally are known to subject netbooks to dangers of modern-day life. Generally, it is an upgraded version of last year’s release, the 2100 series and actually features the same artfully crated rugged design. However, it is more up-to-date and features the latest Atom Pinetrail processor, a 10-inch 1366X768 display – a very ideal spec for internet videos.

If further comes packed with:

Intel Atom N470 processor (1.83GHz)

1GB RAM

802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi

16GB / 64GB SSD OR 160 / 250GB HDD

3-cell and 6-cell batteries

Intel GMA 3150 graphics

2.0MP webcam

Optional tamper-resistant anti-microbe keyboard

Optional touch screen

Optional Broadcom Crystal HD

The Dell Latitude 2110 netbook, even though it may lack the style and classiness of the likes of Asus Eee PC Seashell range, if you are looking for a tool able to withstand a daily bashing, trust the rugged nature and the sturdy materials of the Latitude 2110.

Small business users have a reason to smile, thanks to the newest addition from Dell, the Vostro V13. This is an elegantly light and slim machine that amalgamates great mobility and usability, reason why it is one of the best Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage (CULV) Portables in the market yet. The first thing that strikes you is the ultra thin chassis measuring a mere 19mm in depth. Going for only £359, you must agree that such glossy dimensions are rare at such a price and are ideal for life on the move.

The materials used to make this amazing machine are of superior quality, another rare thing for such a price. The chassis, which is encased in aluminum with durable hinges, is tough and gratifyingly resistant to general wear and tear. The Vostro V13 boasts a battery life of 255minutes, meaning you can work half day without needing a recharge. A slim chassis in a typical netbook would mean overheating, but the machine uses low-powered components within it to avoid this. The Intel CULV processor is a single core chip which provides outstanding basic performance.

The Dell Vostro V13 further boasts a 13.3-inch screen with a matt finish so you wouldn’t expect any reflections. The widescreen makes it easy to work with some applications such as spreadsheets, another reason why business users will fall in love with this. Business users love high-speed connectivity and again this machine is surprisingly well-resourced. It features 802.11n Wi-Fi that provides high-speed wireless access.

Uncommonly for such a tiny machine, the keyboard of the V13 is full-sized and covers the full width of the chassis. It features large keys that respond accurately and firmly when typing. Because of the slim chassis, expect to get two USB ports with the Vostro V13, one doubling as an aSATA port. It further features a 3-in-1 card reader, an ExpressCard slot, and VGA-out that allows you access flash storage cards, peripherals, and even connect to external monitor.

One thing though that you shouldn’t expect to get is a built-in CD/DVD drive but regardless, with the resilience, style and usability you get at such a reasonable price, the Dell Vostro V13 is one of the best CULV machines in the market.

Taking advantage of Intel’s new N450 processor architecture, Dell has created a little machine that’s fast, functional and an absolute bargain. With all the usual features you’d expect such as 802.11n Wi-Fi and a rather generous 10.1″ display, Dell have done well with their latest creation.

Looking at the specs of the new Inspiron Mini, you may be mistaken for thinking that it’s actually not a netbook but a well-featured ultra-portable. What sets this machine apart from the crowd is the fact that it comes as standard with a huge 92% keyboard. While the computer may ship with a relatively standard configuration of Windows 7 Starter and 1GB of RAM, that huge keyboard will itself be a major boost in productivity and a huge timesaver when compared to the competition.

Alongside the huge almost full-size keyboard, you will be pleased to note that Dell have also ensured that it’s possible to enjoy HD movies and more from this little netbook. The Inspiron Mini 1011 features a number of innovations, and perhaps one of the most useful is the video up scaling mode which converts its default 1024×600 display into a near HD 1366 x 760. In an area where netbooks have previously lacked, Dell is starting to come up trumps with the winning combination of easy to use keyboard, high quality display panel and all the enhancements you’d expect from a Dell machine.

The good news is that the Dell Inspiron Mini 1011 is already available for order at just £279 from Dell’s website. Weighing just 1.3kg and with 1024MB of ram and with a 160 GB hard disk, the default configuration may be basic, but it’s clear that the focus on this little netbook isn’t power, but accessibility and ease of use.

You can buy this product direct from Dell by clicking here Dell

That’s right; the rather tasty Dell Netbook we mentioned previously is coming soon. Dell’s gaming division have finally got their act in gear and have their latest offering ready for release, and it’s coming sooner than you’d think. With a release date of the 01 March, it’s only a matter of days now. Priced at $799(£585) the ultra portable certainly isn’t light on the wallet, but the Intel Atom powered 1.3 GHz machine with 2 GB of RAM certainly looks the part.

With the latest in graphics technology being dual chipsets for both 2D and 3D graphics, you’ll be pleased to know that this ‘ultraportable’ is based around the Nvidia GeForce GT 335M with 1GB (yes, 1GB) of dedicated video memory. Indeed, you could be mistaken for thinking that this is a high powered gaming laptop, and indeed the firm is trying to avoid branding this compact piece of kit with the Netbook moniker. However, with an 11.6″ display and a chassis that will rock your world, the Alienware M11x is set to blow you away.

Like many of Dells offerings, the new Alienware gaming machine is customizable in the sense that you can upgrade the processor to a Core2Duo for just $100(£70) which would be a prudent call for most gamers. With extra RAM and a solid-state drive available for this beast, a few upgrades are recommended, as the base model at $799 (£565) isn’t quite as powerful as we’d have hoped but it’s by no means slow.

Ultimately however, what sets this laptop apart from the rest isn’t just the fact it has a huge graphics chip sitting under the ‘bonnet’, but in fact it’s the ‘bonnet’ itself. True to Alienware style, the compact netbook has its own unique style coming in both silver and black with a range of lighting options ensuring that wherever you go, people are going to be eyeing up your Netbook. If you can call it one that is…
